Ross Summers M.D.

Family Practitioner

Dr. Summers was born and raised here in Michigan and received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Wayne State University. He then received his Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed his residency training in Family Practice at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Michigan State Medical Society.

Dr. Summers joined Medical Clinic of Northville in 1997 and took over the practice upon the retirement of the founding doctors. He believes in taking the time to listen to his patients, and has a special interest in natural medicine. Dr. Summers is affiliated with St. Mary Mercy, Providence/Providence Park, Botsford and Oakwood Hospitals.

Cheryl Johnstone M.D.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Johnstone grew up in southern Ohio and obtained her Bachelors Degree in Microbiology at Ohio State University. She attended Wright State University School of Medicine where she received her Medical Degree. She completed her internship at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Dr. Johnstone has practiced medicine in Michigan for over 20 years and joined Medical Clinic of Northville in 2000. She specializes, and is board certified, in Internal Medicine. Dr. Johnstone is affiliated with St. Mary Mercy and Providence Park and St. John Providence Hospitals.

Dr. Johnstone has received the “People’s Choice Award” twice, voted by the readers of the Northville Record, recognized as “The Best Doctor In Northville”

Amy Berke M.D.

Family Practitioner

Dr. Amy Berke grew up in Michigan and received her Bachelors in Bio-Psychology from the University Of Michigan and her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston in Brighton and is board certified in Family Medicine. She joined The Medical Clinic of Northville in 2017.

Dr. Berke practices medicine from an integrative perspective, utilizing both conventional and natural therapies. Treating each patient as a whole, she works to identify the root cause of illness, and then creates a personalized plan to help her patients regain health. She has special interests in nutrition, digestive issues, women’s health, autoimmunity, thyroid disorders, mood and sleep problems, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue, hormone imbalance, methylation, and biotoxin illness.

Mirella Ducu M.D.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Mirella Ducu has been serving her patients for more than 20 years in the Metro Detroit area, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She completed her medical residency at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2001. Her medical degree is from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. In her free time, she likes spending time with her three teenage children (and can even offer free advice).

In the past, she was a member of the Michigan Montessori Society and La Leche League International.
